I created this Children's book as a final for a Children's Illustration class at The New School. We created a full dummy and illustrated three spreads for this book.

I wanted to introduce kids to the notion that trying new foods can be exciting! As a kid I loved trying different food and still do, and New York City offers the widest variety hands down. 

​

Jame comes from a mixed race family and is taken on a food adventure by her parents to teach her about different cultures around the city. From falafel carts to kosher deli, Jamie is reluctant but tries one and of everything and ends up loving it!

I used Photoshop to draw the pictures and InDesign to lay out the book.
